What I want to talk here is that, the hook and loop, as one of the self adhesive products, if it is used in wrong way, the usage effect and duration will be inevitably affected. So how should we stick the sticky back velcro strips?

If it is pasted on a conspicuous place such as a wall, you can first measure the horizontal position before pasting. According to the direction and pasting habits of the adhesive velcro, it is generally pasted from top to bottom or from left to right.

Take the vertical hook & loop as an example. First, uncover a short section of the transparent protective film behind the adhesive, fixing the position for two corners of the velcro on the wall, and the assistant gently pulls the lower two ends to flatten the entire velcro to the wall, and then the paster uses a damp rag to smooth the pasted part while peeling down the protective film, and then slowly stick the adhesive velcro tape on. (Don't uncover the transparent protective film all at once. Uncover the protective film bit by bit according to the pasting direction to prevent accidentally hanging down and sticking to other places.)

If it is pasted on a paper box, gift box, etc., when pasting, it should be pasted quickly and accurately to ensure one-time molding and being stressed uniformly.  

There is also a more detailed method: dilute the detergent with water, put it in the watering can for later use, remove the protective film on the back of the adhesive, and lay it on a clean table or floor, then spray an appropriate amount of water to the back of the velcro as evenly as possible. When it is a little moist, you can paste it. The advantage of this method is diluting the viscosity of the glue to avoid to be pasted stabilizing it as soon as it touches the surface . You can adjust the details in a short time before you paste the frame. After a while, the water runs dry and the velcro stick firmly.
