What is heat shrink tubing

The use of heat shrinkable tube

3, calculate the need to wrap the length of the interception of the corresponding length of heat-shrinkable tube, cutting heat-shrinkable tube, the cut should be neat, smooth, no burrs or cracks, to avoid heating and shrinkage of the stress concentration, the spread along the crack
4, the heat-shrinkable tube set into one end of the cable, the set of heat-shrinkable tube moved to the appropriate location, for there is a bend in the cable, to the corner of the heat-shrinkable tube finishing to prevent wrinkles.
5, heating tools are generally used heat gun, oven or hair dryer, in the heating process to be heated from left to right or from right to left in one direction, can also be heated from the middle to both ends to avoid the air to stay in the heat shrink tube, shrinkage tightly wrapped around the cable, not too close to the surface of the casing or concentrated in one place to heat, otherwise it will produce uneven thickness or burn the casing.
Precautions
1, heat shrinkable tube and heating equipment do not get too close, must pay attention to the distance between the fire and heat shrinkable tube, that is, 4 ~ 5cm evenly moving, in the heating shrinkage, do not exceed the upper limit of heat shrinkable tube temperature resistance, for heat shrinkable tube, the temperature exceeds the upper limit of temperature resistance, will make our products "melt" phenomenon, will return to the initial state.
2, choose the right heating tool, heating and baking when the flame of the outer flame and the surface of the heat shrink tube at an angle of 45 degrees, must pay attention to move back and forth so that the overall heat shrink tube, slowly from one end to the other, heating to avoid bubbles, to ensure that the shape of the heat shrink tube shrinkage, to be trimmed after cooling.
3, heat shrinkable tube has different heat shrinkage ratio, heat shrinkable tube specifications generally refers to the product of the maximum inner diameter allowed after shrinkage of the casing and the shrinkage ratio multiplied. If the shrinkage ratio of the heat shrink tube is 2:1, that is, you can choose to use the heat shrink tube twice as large as the diameter of their products. For example, the diameter of the object is 20mm, we can choose the maximum diameter of 40mm heat shrinkable tube to use.
